***** The Silk Tent on Lancaster avenue ( Near 38th Street ) offers fine African and Caribbean items for the surrounding community. Visit and shop instead of spending your funds Down Town. The professional staff is kind and considerate. Open regular business hours.
*****Hibiscus at 49th and Baltimore Avenue ( North Side of the street) offers vegetarian food with a kind face and a smile! Go there instead of traveling all the way to New York to enjoy a safe time in a friendly atmosphere. I had a veggie turkey wrap that was very tasty. They also have BLACK soaps such as the spearmint soap I recently purchased there. Please ask for Nubian Heritage soap, which is hard to find. Maybe they can carry this brand, BLACK MADE, there.
********** White Seal Cleaners. Located on the South side of the street at 49th and Baltimore Avenue. This is an established BLACK business in its second generation. Probably more expensive than some other cleaners, but don't forget how important it is to circulate money in Black hands to help our family out. Cleaning service here is on a professional level and offered with a smile and true professionalism.
********** Call Brother Tracy Gibson at 1 215 823 9985 if you need advice about public relations, advertising, BLACK COMMUNITY ADVOCACY, or education.
