**The Ninth Annual Lancaster Avenue Jazz & Arts Festival
will be held Jul 18th, 2015 from 12 noon to 7 P.M. at 39th
& Powelton Avenue. I will be in attendance from 12 noon to 1 P.M. The event
is ``powered by the People’s Emergency Center’’ Who has several services
available to the community that are helpful including youth services &
financial advice—which I do partake of. Headliners for the Day of Jazz incude
Sonny Fortune & Quartet; Charlene Holloway Band; Glenn Bryan & Friends;
Vince Turnbull; Sistahs Laying Down Hands; Kimpedro Nu Gruv Network; Universal
Dance & Drum Ensemble; Spoken Word Artist Dewayne Drummond; & Unique
Miracles Drill Team. All are welcome at
this Day of Jazz & Arts for all ages.
