NEW WURD USe

Positive - Not to be confused with HIV positive. Don't stop using this word - POSITIVE - to describe good things you want to achieve, or HAVE achieved,  or the positive influence we have on our children and the positive influence they have on us as elders! Remember the POSITIVE BLACK African Ancestors who have built a path for us to follow over our many days, weeks and months ahead.  Forgive the African ancestors alive or passed away, who did things we might consider not great, and allow them to take that forgiveness and use it as positive energy to help us attain the success we need for ourselves, our families, and our businesses!

Dream - Maybe - but with RESPECT -  Doctor Martin Luther King, Junior had the DREAM wrong. To dream of something is not controllable or measurable or verifiable. We have these dreams, but how do we even know what they are when they are instantly forgotten. EXPECTATION is what we should have. When we expect something we can judge and see what progress we have made as BLACK people, and we can see how far we have gotten on our path to these things. This is controllable and we can gage our progress.

Most Responsible Legislators, Senator Vincent Hughes & Congressman Dwight Evans:

Hello and good morning. I filed a complaint with the federal Post Office several months ago about my United States mail not being delivered properly. I am sure I am missing several checks and even my e-mail has been sent to draft when I am working hard to improve things for our BLACK community and working hard to be in a position to hire 300 people – mostly Black women and BLACK men.  ( By the Way, I am TOTALLY open to hiring people coming out of the prison system). PLEASE let me know what I can do in this regard to help get my mail properly so I can run my corporations properly. I have filed taxes as an individual since 2011. End message.

There are many well-meaning stars in Hollywood and in the music industry across this great country of ours. It is a country I call Turtle Island – like the Native Americans do – There are forces weak, but at play, that are attempting to take away part of the economic and political power of established movie stars, singers, performers, Rap artists, and celebrities such as the ones listed here. Prince warned us about the encroaching of the ``industry’’ on well-earned royalty rights, copyright infringements, creative property rights, and other legal rights to deserved income.   This miserable and foiled attempt at snuffing out progressive & revolutionary political and or economic power comes right in time to serve as a precursor for the 2020 election. The timing was no mistake. I often tell my friends that Donald Trump – The Boy Wonder – didn’t beat Hillary Clinton in 2016, he handed Her a defeat. I am convinced that not only was Mrs. Clinton the Victor in the election She was duped, swindled, cheated and stolen from, as were all the voters and our founding fathers.
As the Blue Lights never came up on the Big Network election boards it became apparent that perplexed sad faces would later show up on some Michael Moore film and so it did -   - proof positive that the Republicans had pulled a quickie and turned a Blue Victory into a Red ``winning’’ streak that ended up actually being the blood of immigrants being held hostage in holding lock-ups; and the red blood of Black female and Black men and Black children being shot down in city streets by poorly-trained, mismanaged and sometimes ``evil ‘’ police officers; and the red blood of so many in the past who have died while working towards the political gain of formerly oppressed people. Malcolm X, (   El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz ) Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Minnie Riperton, Robert Kennedy, Sam Cook, John Lennon, Winnie and Nelson Mandela, Medgar Evers, Muhammad Ali, Ron Harmon Brown, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Junior,  and Senator Paul Wellstone..
Now our political options seem very open. The time is ripe for an alternative Social Democratic candidate to successfully take power in North America. I strongly suggest that Democrats caucus with Social Democrats to build a candidacy taking into account the real needs of average North Americans. It really isn’t as radical as all that. Optimally Donald Trump would never get the Republican nomination but, instead, would be successfully challenged by a responsible, fair-minded, open-minded, reliable, non-racist, and articulate fellow Republican who would stand for all people in business - including those sometimes left out - to have full access to the money and capital needed to lift their businesses onto success.
It is illegal for any major party to stand for racism as - GOD ALMIGHTY, I so declare it.

I also totally insist on open, free and fair elections and a certifiable process for tabulating votes and an abolition of the Electoral College.
I asked for a meeting with my Congressman Dwight Evans  in 2017 to talk about 10-year term limits on Supreme Court terms for all Supreme Court Justices. This is to be delivered retroactively and alternative Parties like the Green Party, the Social Democrats, Socialists and Communists are to be allow the opportunity to name the new 9-member court. All judges who have been on the Supreme Court for more than 10 years are expelled. I was denied the right to legitimately meet with my Congressman on this important issue which would have built true democracy into a formerly faulty system.

Thank You

Due date January 3rd through January 5th, 2020.

** This year’s annual report is full of many accomplishments.  I will list only 11 of them.

**1 – I sent a letter out to the public and to the National Basketball Association ( NBA ) about women playing basketball alongside of men in the NBA. ( This is to even out salary differences and to comply with Federal laws regarding equality in sports.).

**2 – I sent out a warning about the inherent safety risks when our city traffic lights in Philadelphia are not timed correctly. This risk leaves families and children in the middle of the street when traffic is coming.

**3 – I am taking full authority for our business by ordering copies of our original incorporation papers; making sure we are filing taxes properly for the problem stemming back to the summer of 2015; and keeping our home office as clean & neat as possible. The cost of the incorporation papers is $18.00.

**4 – I am sending out a statement about treating Gay and Lesbian people in Philadelphia with respect when they are engaged in acceptable open contact in public. We asked that they be protected by police and that a de-criminalization of such acceptable social behaviors be started officially by police and City Government.

**5 – I am seeking funding for my corporation through grants.

**6 – I wrote over 46 articles on current topics like acceptable Gay and Lesbian social behaviors in Atlanta and supporting Black businesses at Gay Pride in Atlanta; why creating a guilt-free,  broad social fund  ( like a revolutionary United Way ) for the basic needs of the poor is crucial and highly recommended by me; I did Reviews of several movies, restaurants & books;  I chose NOT to attend the HIV Breakfast on November 30th, 2019 sponsored by Philadelphia Fight. Reason being, for political reasons and I chose not to support the AIDS Walkathon ( reasons being that the AIDS Walkathon should be called a ``Healthy Intimacy Walkathon’’ to generate more family and community support & the HIV Breakfast should be called the ``Healthy Intimacy Breakfast for Families’’  and to advocate for less use of PREP until we find out who makes the millions of dollars from this vital medicine that is supposed to help guard against HIV. I also am advocating for more open exchange of positive and useful information regarding sex and sexuality so our children don’t have to learn about this from the streets); I successfully demonstrated against food insecurity at a down town, Up-Scale supermarket at 18th and Spruce Street, and wrote about it on my BLOG – http://ThePoliticsofREAL.BLOGSPOT.COM

**7 – I got new personal bank accounts and closed my corporate checking account until I am ready to open it when in full production with my corporation. ( This was at the suggestion of a close church colleague from Unity Fellowship Christ Church of Philadelphia, my official home church. This really helped me move forward. ) .

** 8 – I continued to advocate for safer and cleaner drinking water for the AFRICAN continent; an end to BLACK teen smoking; healthier eating; more exercise; safe sex ( not abstaining from sex, which just creates stress, anger and disappointment; released a BLACK media curriculum for BLACK parents that was suited for BLACK teenagers.    ( This was done to help curb some of the confusing messages that major media tries to deliver to our BLACK people.  .)…

** 9 – I attended an Urban League dinner in German Town that was designed to get inner city people interested in formalizing and professionalizing their established businesses or get on stronger footing while changing a business idea into an established business. I also joined the Philadelphia Urban League at a cost of $55.00, earlier in November. The speaker was Doctor Colona Roberts, a property owner, child care expert, and consultant, who is polite, talented, successful, wealthy and a great public speaker . I was able to ask Her at least three questions, enjoyed the meal,  and received a free copy of Her book ``The Blue Print,’’ which I read in one night.

**10 -  I looked into the cost of re-doing my business plan ( $40.00 ), but I will need extra help on the marketing aspect. This is part of my 2020 corporate plan and expectation.

**11 – I wrote a review of the movie ``Harriet.’’ The review is available on my MOVIE Review Blog  `` A Matter of MOVIES: REVIEWS BY Brother Tracy Gibson.’’...  I also reviewed three restaurants I visited in Philadelphia.

President’s message:

I am including a message that proves where and when I worked at the Free Library of Philadelphia. It is by no means an all-inclusive list of the time I spend working on corporate business. Editor’s Notes

Editor’s Note:  I HAVE A LIST OF BOOKS YOU CAN ASK ME FOR THAT WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THESE SITUATIONS BETTER AND HELP YOU GET A BETTER HAND ON WHAT TO DO TO INCREASE POWER FOR YOURSELF AND END THE FEELING OF HOPELESSNESS YOU MIGHT BE FEELING. Call me at 1 (215) 823 9985 and send me your e-mail address [ or leave it clearly on my voice mail  ] and I’ll send my book list to you.  You can also buy a copy of my poetry book ``Let the Children Gather,’’ by Tracy Gibson to help me out financially. They cost of the book is $10.00 per copy.  Political improvement costs money. We ALL deserve better. There is a serious disconnect going on between what the people want and what they are able to get and achieve. The present bodies of elected officials may mean well, but people are much more than frustrated. A handsome, dashing BLACK face and a beautiful BLACK family that really doesn’t deliver to the masses of people in a Way that alleviates such social pain is NOT a REAL solution.  Health care under OBAMA was very difficult to deliver on, but our so-called two-party system has allowed some of these advances to be eroded. My corporation is an ``S’’ corporation. We are celebrating our 13th year (we incorporated on December 18th, 2006). Reach us by regular mail at Brother Tracy Gibson and Associates, Incorporated; 670 North 41st Street; Apartment - Office B; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania  19104 - 5202. Contributions are accepted, but in NO WAY required or demanded for me to work with you or your parents ( if you are students) or directly with parents to build vital educational and information modalities to get at the truth... Donations are not tax deductible AND TOTALLY VOLUNTARY! ... This article is written through the auspices of Brother Tracy Gibson and Associates, Inc. If you wish to write to us, please submit a letter at BrotherTracy11@GMail.Com or KOKAYIJESUS333@GMail.com. Do Philadelphia City Council Rules Need to Be Changes?

TO: Friends at City Council in Philadelphia;,, From Mr. Tracy Charles Gibson - Businessman // Writer //  BLACK YOUTH ADVOCATE  //   Philanthropist.

I am a long-time Philadelphia resident and have always been concerned about ethics in City Government. I am very concerned about the fact that while City Council is going on, there is often
A mention of ``LIFting the Rules of Council’’ before a vote or an action is taken. I would politely like to
Know what exactly this term means as Council carries out their city legislative business? You can reach me at 1 – 215 – 823 – 9985 . OR by mail at 670 North 41st Street; Apartment B; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19104 – 5202 . Thank you for your honesty and concern.  Mr. Tracy Gibson, a businessman who is planning to hire 300 people for His various business endeavors in Philadelphia very soon….

Building BLACK Neighborhoods

About three years ago I sent WURD a message ( similar to this, but not exactly this)  about how we as BLACK people in Philadelphia can empower ourselves and turn back gentrification by reclaiming the city by
Changing our city names to Sistah Falaka Fattahville or Paul Robesonville ( WEST Philadelphia); Reverend Paul Washingtonville or Senator Roxanne Jonesville ( North Philadelphia ); Sister Marian Andersonville or Brother Octavius Valintine Cattoville ( South Philadelphia ) and  Brother State Representative David P. Richardsonville or C. Deloris Tuckerville ( Germantown). These names are only a few. Perhaps there must be some kind of plebiscite in the BLACK community to name them for ourselves ONLY, not wait for the state and local government to take such action.  Other names to be considered ( NOT A FULL LIST BY ANY MEANS):
Henry DeBernardo ( noted housing activist & organizer )
Alfonso Deal ( noted head of the NAACP after Cecil Bassett Moore)
Sonya Sanchez ( noted Poet Lauriat of Pennsylvania or Philadelphia)
Tracy Charles Gibson ( Noted businessman, Public Relations expert, Teacher & author)
Blondell Reynolds Brown ( noted City Councilwoman)
Claudia Aziza Gibson Hunter ( noted Artist, mother, and activist)
Tony Montaro ( noted Professor, Teacher, organizer and political analyst )
( Please check the spelling of some of these names. I had no success to check them
In traditional references  at the library. )
This will build solidarity; unity; and good will among BLACK people as we learn how to truly respect our neighborhoods and our people who live in them ( US). We will be able to really successfully work towards better schooling for our children; and take pride in our property by not littering and dedicating ourselves to reinvesting money to stabilize our neighborhoods for the long time we will live in them. We will take pride as we leave our property to our daughters, sons, nieces and nephews.

Thank You and GOD Bless You.

NEW KWANZAA BOOK is a great word on the subject of the BLACK cultural holiday called Kwanzaa!

There is a great new book about Kwanzaa, The African-Centered BLACK cultural holiday ( it is NOT a religious holiday )  between Christmas and New years that was created by BLACK Professor Mauana Karenga in 1966.from page 86: ``Yusef Waliyaya - The Kwanzaa Griot
Making Kwanzaa accessible fun for young people was a mission for the late Yusef Waliyaya, poet, playwright, musician, and composer from Brooklyn, New York. A cofounder of the Queens-based Afrikan Poetry Theatre, Waliyaya used its stage to educate about African history and culture, often through storytelling punctuated by his playing of rhythms on the drums and on flute. He had a particular gift for wedding music to poetry in a way that captivated children, and his band, The Medicine Man YaYa and The Black Cross Nurses, eased adult audiences unto an Afro-funk groove. '' [ end quote]
The book is called: ``A Complete Guide for Making Kwanzaa a Part of Your Life
KWANZAA
From Holiday to Every Day’’ by Meitefa Angaza
What I like about this book is that it includes and talks about every kind of BLACK person, not just people who have deemed themselves authorities on the subject, but BLACK Lesbian poets like Audre Lorde, and BLACK Gay writer James Baldwin are also included. My hat is off (and missing, but that is not Her fault), my hat is off to Maitefa Angaza for writing such a thoughtful, well-written, hopeful, LOVely,  all-inclusive BLACK book that has descriptions of the holiday and its principles, Kwanzaa recipes, (mostly vegetarian and or very healthy.). ALSO included: what to buy for presents and gifts, ( please keep gifts non-commercial, BLACK made ( especially BLACK hand-made items), or items like books by BLACK authors; and or hand-made (BLACK ) African clothing, made through a process that does not exploit workers of any hue.). Please get this book, it comes highly recommended.  See if you can find a Black book distributor like www.WeBuyBlack.com to buy from.

Open Letter

An Open Letter to Reverend Kevin Taylor of Unity Fellowship Christ Church of Newark

From Jesus Christ ( also known as Tracy Gibson )

First, I am commending you for the great job you do to instill hope and LOVe in others. I have met you before and have great respect for your capabilities.

I know of your LOVe for late singer Natalie Cole, and plan to listen to her great music more often due to your influence.

Have you ever had a feeling that something isn't quite sitting correctly with someone you know, but you don't know what it is or how to alleviate the problem? This is what my Lord is telling me about you. I hope and Pray I have NEVER done anything to offend you at all. Equally important, I hope and Pray you are not taking advantage of me in any way, which you may not even know the details of. I am sure this is not true. However, there may be a third party trying to make things difficult. GOD will not stand for this.

There is something there, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I know you are a great motivator, as I am, and that we share a similar career path, although our paths seldom meet. Just want you to know I am available for you to call anytime you wish if you need to talk about anything at all. Perhaps we could work on similar projects. Just let me know.

You can reach me though the Philadelphia church.

Gratefully True, with Kindness and Hugs,

 Tracy Gibson

Recent Food Reviews

*****  Common Bar and Brill at 36th and Market. West Philadelphia.
I went here by myself on my birthday and really enjoyed myself.
I had shrimps and rice and a piece of chocolate cake and seltzer water in place of an
Alcoholic drink ( I don’t drink alcohol due to the medicine I take).  I liked the food and
Service so well, I decided to go again soon after my first visit. Highly recommended.
*****Govinda’s Gourmet Vegetarian Restaurant 1408 South Street. PHONE: - 1 - 215 – 985 - 9303
Their web page says they are ``a  Philadelphia tradition since 1985.’’ I have been going to this delightful eatery since they were open way back in the early days!
The food is very good and very vegan, but you can get things like real mozzarella cheese on your vegan chicken cheese steak; the soups are great ( not too spicy ) ; and most of the desserts are made with no milk products or eggs.  You can also get spinach or tomato Wraps that are mostly vegetable, or you can get meat-like substitutes for real meat that are tender, juicy and tasty.  ( I actually owe them $24.00 because they were kind enough to extend me credit when a Brother ( me ) was low on cash a few months ago. ) Many meals are also Halal and Kosher.  Most major credit cards are accepted, call for open hours. THANK YOU GOVINDA’S!
*****McCormick  and Schmick Seafood & Steaks  at
1 South Broad Street in Philadelphia. ( near Broad and Chestnut Street ) - 1 – 215 – 568 – 6888.
A few weeks after my last birthday, when I turned 63, I went to McCormick and Schmick Seafood & Steaks in Philadelphia with a friend and had grilled Salmon stuffed with shrimps and crab.  My companion had Grilled Sea Bass which He said was superb. The portion ( for me)  was small, but I really enjoyed the food and shared a house salad with a friend of mine.  ( Being that I am learning how to eat less and enjoy more, I didn’t mind the smaller portions).  Instead of alcohol -- I had seltzer water with lemon and skipped the desserts as I am working on avoiding sugar and butter. If this sounds austere, please remember that when someone is treating you out to dinner, it is best not to over indulge.  ( Please look for dining books on etiquette for BLACK Youth).   The food was great and I know for sure, I cannot prepare food like this because I am NOT a trained chef, even though I have my Serv.Safe certificate.  Call for hours and locations or look on their Web Page for more information.

Passing Away!

On the way to the funeral, ( it was a HOT summer afternoon) - I had to stop and think for a few moments. There was gentrification going on and my favorite tree was about to be cut down at PENN.  Instead of yet another BLACK person in a casket, I wanted to rather attend the funeral for the following:

The passing Away of all diseases started in some back ally laboratory by the Central Intelligence Agency or other such so-called intel agency.

The passing away of international hatred.

The passing away of lies and deceit.

The passing away of back-stabbing.

The passing away of polluting companies and pollution forever,  ( and I don’t mean as long as it takes to cancel a forever stamp.) .

The passing away of too much boozE consumed by people who would do better to mind their businesses and take a 50 % salary cut instead of squeezing the working people who work for them moore.

The passing away of the vociferous language used by BLACK preachers who don’t know How to temper their language to be soothing instead of resentful, hateful and vicious.

The passing away of movies spoiled by so much super-hero silliness that my popcorn no longer pops.

The passing away of the rotten behaviors of conniving, sell-out BLACK politicians who take money up to their Hy-Knees and never think about the real needs of their BLACK constituents.

The passing away of not thinking before we hit another child, woman or man of ANY color!

Bout Black Colleges BLACK Nurturing instead of a student robot.

In remembrance of Brother Wayne Moore  -  Sistah Carrie Engram, who dedicated their lives to standing tall for BLACK people, even when we didn’t want to listen to them!

This gentleman, Lou Rawls, was a master of fund raising when He served as Master of Ceremonies at the United Negro College Fund's nationally televised telethons back in the Day.  Black colleges and BLACK universities have the honor of providing more emotional support and nurturing through college and university staffs at these BLACK establishments.  BLACK students benefit more at BLACK establishments because they get the opportunity to network with fellow BLACK students, BLACK staff personnel, and other such BLACK staff people after graduation.  BLACK professors are more willing to help BLACK students find jobs and other professional opportunities that help them establish themselves properly professionally. This aspect of professional nurturing is vastly missing at European-centered expensive Ivy League universities or Big Ten colleges. Many BLACK scholars and important Black thinkers graduated from BLACK colleges. I want - as do other important BLACK leaders – I want BLACK parents to seriously consider spending  leg-of-lamb money on BLACK colleges instead of colleges that just want to gentrify BLACK neighborhoods instead of teaching BLACK leaders for today and tomorrow.  When we really RESPECT each other we SUPPORT each other respectfully!  This gentleman Lou Rawls, was a master of fund raising when He served as Master of Ceremonies at the United Negro College Fund's nationally televised telethons back in the Day.  Black  colleges and BLACK universities have the honor of providing more emotional support and nurturing for BLACK students that is missing at expensive Ivy League or Big Ten colleges. Local Celebrity: Solomon Jones

Local Celebrity: Solomon Jones

a Review By Tracy Gibson

Did you know that we have a local celebrity right here in Philadelphia on WURD Radio? Solomon Jones is a gifted writer and radio host who has His own Radio Program ( `` Wake Up With WURD’’ ) from 7 AM to 10 AM Mondays through Fridays at 900 AM and 96.1 FM.  This is BLACK Talk Radio and sets the trends for what BLACK conscious People in Philadelphia listen to and for some of their more progressive activities.  The program is called ``Wake Up With WURD,’’ and comes highly recommended by this journalist and writer.  Mr. Jones, a LOVing father and husband, is also a gifted author who penned the following books: ``The Bridge,’’ and `` Pipe Dreams.’’

It is my hope that you will give a listen and call 1 ( 215 )  632 - 8065  into WURD so YOU can make your voice heard.   Mr. Jones is getting quite a positive reputation for being an astute activist who takes on the oligarchy on issues such as police misconduct; education; government ethics; and gentrification in the City of Philadelphia.  A former Congressional staffer, He has taken on additional roles as main speaker at rallies and negotiator on issues of concerned mentioned above, but also going beyond the issues mentioned here. My hat is off to Mr. Jones, who obviously cares about our BLACK families, our BLACK children and wants all of humanity to try to do a bit better each day and not forget those of lower income!

Putting GOD First.....

Putting GOD First: I See GOD in ACTION Every Day, Through His Working Through People!

By Tracy Gibson

It happened today. Right there on the Number 10 trolley on SEPTA ( South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation  Authority ) heading down town this very late afternoon.  There was a young gentleman in tattered clothing who appeared to have little or no money and He was asking to get on the train for a free ride.  { I have been in this position and it is NOT one of dignity and pride for me. }  I could see the fear in the young man’s eyes and face. Fearing rejection and being told to get off the train.   Some people don’t know what it is like to not be granted a ride on SEPTA when you don’t have the fair.  Most people can make the $2.50 per ride or have a SEPTA Key card packed with a month’s worth of rides.  ``If you have to go without the card full of rides, you usually have the $2.50 in cash.’’ This is what I say to people who live on $30,000.00 a year and up. This young man probably had NO CASH at all!  { I am making an assumption, and you know what they say about making assumptions.}.   There was a rather handsome man coming on the trolley after the man with no or little funds, and He had money enough to pay the gentleman’s fair.  This, in my humble estimation, was GOD at work . It was not only that man’s heart working well. It was generosity at work.  GOD  -   working through people as He often, but not always, does. . . I was impressed by GOD’s actions and I promised Him that I would write this.  Of course I have to thank the generous BLACK man as well.  Having a kind heart and generosity is GODly.  It is short and sweet and to the point – what I’m writing here , but imagine what that person’s day would have been like if He had to walk 5 ( five) miles.  He only had to walk about five blocks, which would have been fine to walk, but it is a cold day today ( November 12th, 2019 ) … I just want to thank GOD for that young man in need being alive and well, even though He is of poor pockets.  I am glad He will not, I am PRAYING, have to be in a room with no roof.  A man without shelter. I am again making an assumption.  He may in fact be a man without shelter.  GOD, please help me be more effective at helping more BLACK people live in pride and decency and with the proper care ( this does NOT include second-rate health care ) and proper food ( this does NOT include so-called fast food ), and enough money to use in adequate Ways to provide for self and family for a few generations or Moore.

We should all be Moore like the handsome BLACK man who paid for himself and the brother who didn’t have it like that today.  I rest my case for in-house BLACK REPARATIONS!  Much more effective than waiting around for the mostly greedy to become generous.  Thank you GOD for the wealth of knowledge you have helped me store up and share for yet another rainy day.

Wattstax the movie, adult language, but a great film

``Wattstax’’ from 1973 A Film Not to be Missed.
By GOD ALMIGHTY // Tracy Gibson

I wrote a little about this before, but I can’t help but write a little more.  There is a trailer from an ole movie called ``Wattstax,’’ which is a cornucopia of segments centering on the comedy of Richard Pryor, Isaac Hayes, and different musical groups – a BLACK movie that I remember fondly from the time I worked at the Cinema 19 then at 19th and Chestnut Street here in Philadelphia.
There are two reasons why I remember this fondly. One is the fact that there was a small riot at the theatre that summer in the 1970’s when the film was showing because people couldn’t get tickets and there was mass confusion and a little hysteria.  I also remember this because I was a teen-ager at the time and there was a broken glass ticket booth and there was money on the floor in the broken ticket booth and there was this BLACK teen-aged worker named Tracy Gibson ( ME ) who took $10.00 off the floor and NEVER told anyone about it except now. I wrote this in my book  ``The Re-Awakening of the African Diaspora.’’  The newer one from I think 2015 or so.
Don’t think I am NOT embarrassed by this still until this day.  I took advantage of a situation and I PRAY GOD takes mercy for me and forgives me.
The other reason I LOVE this ``Wattstax’’ movie is because there is a segment with the singing group, a group of beautiful BLACK women, and they sing ``Peace Be Still,’’ just in a manner I can’t even begin to tell you how fantastic they sound in this trailer of the film. These sisters bring a deeply-rooted level of authentic Soul to this traditional Gospel song that I have never seen topped by anyone else who sings this song.  I have to also tell parents that this film may not be suitable for children under 15 due to some of the language, but it is a great movie. So, when you get a chance, please see this film that is available at the Free Library of Philadelphia through the Inner Library Loan program.
** Editor’s Note: Some of the reference checks for this film were gathered from the Internet Movie Data Base. ( WWW.IMDB.ORG)
You have to use Inner Library Loan AT THE FREE LIBRARY because the film is very old and they have this special program AT THE LIBRARY for such older films. You might be able to buy it also from the WWW.AMAZON.COM source as well for ( $10.99).    Hallelujah!

Laila Ali Gets great book review for ``Food for Life,'' from GOD ALMIGHTY!

``Food for LIFE,’’ Laila Ali’s Cook Book and life changing nutrition book Gets great Review!

By Tracy Gibson – GOD ALMIGHTY!

Her recent cook and healthy living book, `` Food for Life,’’ by Laila Ali, is pretty good and has excellent photos of the fantastic foods She prepares.
Ali makes it easy to lessen the salt and make changes that are easy to make for a trained food professional like myself.  People with less cooking skills will also find this book useful because it is easy to read and very people-friendly!
I am very pleased with the clear writing and the clear printing that is easy to read and to understand.  She often mentions that good, healthy food is a part of a healthy regimen and can extend life and vitality.
Muhammad Ali’s daughter and a married woman very proud of Her father, Ms Ali writes about each recipe using common language, but the writing also has a flair that shows off Her writing talents ( it should be noted, and you may already know that Ms Ali is a trained boxer like Her Dad was).
I had to ``get over it,’’ – as BLACK family healing expert Iyanla Vanzant says – I had to get over it about being an independent man as I was a bit ``fearful’’ of Her book not knowing Ms Ali much at all.  Now, however, I have a more acclimated and comfortable knowledge about Her book and want to read about Her life as a boxer, wife and Mom.  I am sure Ms Ali has a biography out that will inform me more about Her life, family and political activities.
The stories that go along with the recipes in ``Food for Life,’’ also chip off a part of Her feelings about the foods She is writing about.  She has a great and positive Way of writing that is active and professional.  One thing I will strongly suggest that will help with the flavor of the beef bones She uses to make beef- soup stock, is something I learned from my Mother, Mrs. Jessie Thornton Gibson ( Who was like a GOD for me ) – cook the beef bones in the oven for about 30 minutes – and put the bones into a hot oven at about 350  - and the flavor of the beef bones and all the nutrients comes out even more flavorfully when you make the stock.   I am not just going to do this review and forget about Ms Ali because I LOVed Her Father and was so proud of Him when He took a stand against the Viet Nam war as well as the great sparing He did with announcer and Television personality Howard Cosell. Muhammad Ali also was and is a fantastic role model for BLACK children, especially BLACK teen men who need to have more positive role models and lasting images of positivity for their lives to run a better course than what others might want to steer them into.

I was very glad that Ms Ali uses many flavorful vegetables, whole grains, and other healthy foods like fresh fruits in many of Her recipes.  I look forward to reading more about Ms Ali and I am more than willing to help Her if She wants to break into the movie business. I am NOT trying to be funny, but She may want to take a few acting lessons, unless She is a natural, which may well be the case.  Some people think acting is easy like RAP is easy. I did a rap in my living room a while ago and do you really want to talk about  me sounding like really bad, well that is what I sounded like – really bad at Rap folks.  But cooking, see I come from three generations of cooks and chefs – my father and grandfather.  If Ms Ali wants to start a restaurant here in Philadelphia and needs my help, please allow Her to feel free to call my home office because I know plenty of restaurant people here and have some locations I am thinking about.  Judging from Her book ``Food for Life,’’ Ms Ali is more than ready to take such a step.

They don’t offer much for home-made desserts, but Larry’s Steaks has several items on their menu that will help the person eating out find something healthier to munch on.

[More prices will be added later].
3] Sweet Potato fries $3.25

14] They don’t carry Fiji water {which as far as I’m concerned is the best kind} , but they do have Spring Water, which is recommended as opposed to sodas and milk shakes.
15] There are many other items on the menu, but we were interested in items that burn up faster as calories and are not so fattening.  Any one trained a bit (even through self-training) can go through a menu and find more healthy items, if they are so inclined. The people at Larry’s Steaks were very friendly about my questions once I explained I was doing an article for my blog. http://thepoliticsofReal.blogspot.com
(I was hoping they offered me a free meal, which they did not—better that Way, I don’t want them to sway me in any Way in what I wrote.).

A Review of ``Trust,'' Iyanla Vanzant's Master Work

A Review of Iyanla Vanzant’s ``TRUST,’’ from Tracy Gibson.

One thing I have done is work very hard to NOT confuse people about me, what I believe, and who I am. One of my ole friends – Bruce Harvey -  always calls me ``Traceology.’’ I think He was coining a phrase to note that I have a whole school of thought that is part of what I do, say and write. ( I have to mention that some of these things that make up ``Traceology’’ are NOT original, but made up of the ideas I have honed from hundreds of books and thousands of interactions I have had – both negative and positive - with intelligent and not- so intelligent people. Ordinary people and extraordinary people who have helped me heal, grow and be the best person I can be right now, today.).
While I say I am GOD, what you might not know is that I also say, usually at the same time, but not always, I also say that I am no more GOD than you or anyone else. The end of the Malcolm X film starring Denzel Washington comes to mind. There, all who spoke at the end of the film, said ``I am Malcolm X,’’  ``I Am Malcolm X,’’ `` I Am Malcolm X,’’ but they were regular people, or Black celebrities, or people like Nelson Mandela – THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT OF SOUTH AFRICA…..  I think what the filmmaker, Brother Spike Lee, was getting at is that Malcolm X is in all of us who care about BLACK humanity as He did and who want to see a positive impact of improving the human condition, as He did.
Some people say Martin Luther King, Junior was GOD and some people think GOD was back on earth as Malcolm X.  I agree and I extend this to include all people who ever helped anyone else, LOVed anyone else, or wanted our world to be better, or wanted to or did work towards a better world.  At the time you were doing those Blessed things, you also were GOD! GOD is in us and we are a part of GOD.  So, when I say I am GOD I am in the company of you, who are also GOD.
There are some other people I have to mention who have been GODs to me. One is my Aunt Helen, who was a living saint. Another was Maya Angelou, who was a BLACK director, Black actress, and a BLACK poet. If you look up Her work on Amazon you can buy one of Her great books. There are women like some of my friends who are GODs as well, they are too many to name.  My Mother was definitely a GOD as was Rosa Parks, Fannie Lou Hamer, Winnie Madikizela Mandela, and Angela Davis. Jesus is not the only GOD!
Another thing I noticed is people like Iyanla Vanzant are for sure GOD.  I was watching Her program on You Tube a few months ago and I saw Her exiting a car to go and help some people. I thought for a few moments, that She – a television host, a self-help personality, a lawyers, a highly qualified self-improvement coach  - I felt that She was exiting the Presidential helicopter like President Obama used to do.
I don’t think we give Iyanla the credit She is due. We must!  Many people have read several of Her books, including myself.  One of the best books She ever wrote is the book  ``TRUST,’’  ( Copyright 2015; SmileyBooks; Distributed by Hay House, Incorporated. ) which is on-topic for improving Spiritual growth, clarifying how we might feel about GOD and for discovering how, perhaps,  the way we were treated as children or young adults helps mold and shape our beliefs about GOD.  How, when and where we begin to ``TRUST’’ ourselves, trust GOD, trust  Life, and trust others is at the crux of this book. I found this book to be the most important book She ever wrote. ( I have to admit that I have NOT read Her newer book entitled ``Get Over It,’’   but I plan to. ( I have read about ten of Her books, maybe less.).
From ``Trust,’’ page 83, Second or Third paragraph down from the top of the page,:
``It is hard to describe what happens when you feel the presence of God take hold of you. It is both peaceful and jarring. It is both a relief and a shock. It makes you cold and warm. One thing is for sure, when you feel it, whether  you can describe it or not, you know exactly what it is, and you are grateful. I thought I was whispering, but I must have been yelling. Or maybe I was whispering, because I heard Almasi say, ``Are you okay?  Where are you?’’
``I was trying desperately to tell her the story about the new house. I was trying to express the depth of my gratitude.’’
``I thought I was saying, ``Thank you, God!’’ I have no clue what was actually coming out of my mouth, nor did I care. A few days later I paid three months’ rent and a month’s security deposit. When I picked up the keys and saw the house for the first time, all I could say was, ``Oh my God! What the *** was I thinking?’’ It was clear that the wisdom and presence of God had blinded me to the realities of my new home just to get me in it. What a blessing!’’
``With the aid of a very lovely ``cottage,’’ the home that would be my safe haven for the next eight and a half years. I knew enough to recognize that when you are growing, healing, and learning to trust God at a deeper level, there are situations and circumstances that you must encounter and grow through.’’  END OF QUOTE.
(Dear young BLACK people, please remember that if you are quoting from a book, it is OK to take a quote of a few paragraphs and present it to the public, but always mention where you got the quote from.  Please don’t claim the works of others as yours.).
I want you to read this whole book ``TRUST’’ and tell me what you think. I can be reached at – 1 – 215 – 823 – 9985….. Please leave a message for me.   I am putting this review on my reviews BLOG, for the public to read. I highly recommend this book and hope you will actually buy a copy as I did, not just get it from the Free Library.  Thank you, and GOD Bless YOU!

Tracy Gibson,

GOD Almighty!

today ends the negative thinking - PLEASE!

Pigs ( BY THE WAY THEY ARE CALLED Police Officers ) verses the people //  Palestine’s verses the Jews  //  Africans / African Americans and / Black Caribbean’s verse Europeans // bureaucrats verses voters //Christians  verses Conservative Christians // vegetarians verses meat-eaters. The negativity ends today. We don’t all become HIV Negative, but we can work towards real democracy, real decency and real respect for ourselves and each other.  Start by working to understand the other side because you, like me are not always correct. Yes, our judicial system doesn’t always work in our favor, but we have to listen to our Black Ancestors and listen to find a new path and a new Way to find ourselves and our personal relationship with GOD, if we believe in Him or Her, or if we don’t maybe we should just find our purpose in life. Working individually can also work wonders if you don’t want to work with others in a group, association, organization or school. Help your parents understand you by getting and being real with them.  Listen to your children instead of yelling and hitting. They are humans also. I know this is not easy.
As we all think more positively and get along like Larry Holmes and Rodney King want us to. Rodney King was beaten up by the Los Angeles police on March 3rd, 1991 and there is film video to prove it. ``Can’t we all get along,?  ‘’ YES! An Unequivocal YES!  A MAN can change His mind!
